SIWOQ4 Automatic Transfer Switch Field Question Answers

yyxqjt.pngProblem Description 1: The switch cannot automatically switch

Troubleshooting:

① Does the switch button or key switch to the automatic position. (16-63A current level for buttons, 160-630A current level for keys).

② Is the switch in a padlocked state. (160-630A current level switch)

③ Is the three-level switch connected to the neutral line.

④ Whether the on-site power supply is normal.

Solution:

① When the switch button or key is switched to the automatic position, the switch is in the automatic state.

② Rotate the key clockwise to the unlock position. (160-630A current level switch)

③ Connect the two incoming zero lines to terminals 61 and 62 on the left side of the three-level switch.

④ The current level 16A-630A CB level switch displays the panel power fault indicator light. When the panel indicator light is red, it indicates that the power supply is in a fault state, and when it is green, it indicates a normal state. When the indicator light is red, a multimeter should be used to measure the on-site incoming voltage. Type I switch to check if the incoming voltage (A, B, C and N) is out of phase, type II and III switch to check if the incoming voltage is out of phase, and whether there is overvoltage or undervoltage (A, B, C and N). The overvoltage value is 220 × (1+20%), undervoltage value 220 × (1-17%) Factory default value. The 16A-63A PC level switch measures the incoming voltage and whether there is overvoltage or undervoltage. The measurement method can refer to the CB switch.

yyxqjt.pngProblem Description 2: The distribution box cabinet door is commonly closed, but the backup closing indicator light does not display

Troubleshooting:

① Is the side terminal (common I) 52 or (backup II) 54 conductive to the common terminal 51 when the switch is in the common or backup power position and closed. Only applicable to switches (16A-63A PC grade; 160A-630A CB grade)

Whether the lower terminals (common I) 51 and 52 are conductive when the switch is in the common power on state; Is the lower terminals (backup II) 53,54 conductive when the switch is in standby power on. Only applicable (16A-63A CB grade) switches

② Is the wiring of the on-site indicator light correct.

③ Whether the indicator is normal.

Solution:

① When the switch is in the common power position, use a multimeter to measure the continuity of terminals 51 and 52 on the side. When the switch is in the standby power position, measure the continuity of terminals 51 and 54 on the left side. Only applicable to switches (16A-63A PC grade; 160A-630A CB grade)

When the switch is in the common power position, use a multimeter to measure the continuity of terminals 51 and 52 below. When the switch is in the standby power position, use a multimeter to measure the continuity of terminals 53 and 54 below. Only applicable (16A-63A CB grade) switches

② The L-line should be connected to terminal 51 on the side, one end of the commonly used indicator light should be connected to terminal 52, one end of the backup indicator light should be connected to terminal 54, and the other end of these two indicator lights should be connected to the N-line. Only applicable to switches (16A-63A PC grade; 160A-630A CB grade)

The L line should be connected to terminals 51 and 53 below, with one end of the commonly used indicator light connected to terminal 52 and one end of the backup indicator light connected to terminal 54. Then, the other end of these two indicator lights should be connected to the N line. Only applicable (16A-63A CB grade) switches

③ Remove the cabinet door indicator lamp and connect it to the power supply voltage of the lamp to check whether the indicator lamp itself is normal

yyxqjt.pngProblem Description Three: The oil engine cannot start (the backup power supply is the oil engine)

Troubleshooting:

① Is the oil engine on/off signal activated

② Is the oil engine equipment turned on

Solution:

① Measure the signal terminals of the 41 and 42 oil engines using a multimeter's beep range. When the I circuit power is cut off, terminals 41 and 42 should have a closed signal output.

② The user shall check whether the diesel engine used is normal or whether it is in automatic state.

The investigation of the above issues should be conducted by electricians with professional knowledge or qualifications. If the problem is not resolved, please contact our after-sales department for resolution.
